There are many ways to market yourself and capture leads. One of the oldest and most time-tested methods has been hosting seminars or other in-person events. But there are a lot of logistics that go into hosting an event. You have to book the venue, coordinate food for your guests, figure out the marketing, pre-plan the follow up, prepare slides for a presentation, and more.

Of course the major part of a seminar is actually standing in front of the room, speaking to that audience. Many highly experienced advisors that excel in one-on-one meetings struggle with seminars and get the impression that in-person events just don’t work.
