The purchase of life insurance is typically regarded as an act of selfless caring. Stereotypically speaking, women are viewed as more likely to exhibit altruism than men. So why are men significantly more likely (42%) to buy life insurance than women (31%)? That was a question that LIMRA sought to answer through a qualitative study in February.
