Marc Verbos
President of AIMCOR Consolidated, LLC d/b/a ICON
Marc Verbos is President of AMICOR Consolidated, LLC & ICON. He began his 20 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry as an advisor in 2003, while still studying for his undergraduate degree. He later moved from being a retail agent over to distribution, where he served as a National Account Manager and was responsible for managing the non-proprietary, outsource business relationships for the career distribution channel of one of the nation’s largest insurance carriers.
He then served as the Director of Marketing, and eventually as CEO, for a brokerage general agency (BGA) before being offered the opportunity to join the leadership team at AIMCOR Group, LLC, one of the largest national marketing organizations and third-party distributor of insurance products in the country. As Vice President of Business Development for AIMCOR Group, Marc was instrumental in launching AIMCOR Enterprise Insurance Group (EIG), the distribution division of AIMCOR that supports financial institutions and B2B relationships in 2015.
In 2019, Marc was promoted to Executive Vice President becoming a part of the company’s senior executive leadership team that’s tasked with the execution of the organization’s long-term strategic initiatives. In 2022, the organization introduced the aligned distribution channel in conjunction with their new M&A division; AIMCOR Consolidated, LLC d/b/a ICON, and appointed Marc to the top leadership role of the newly created division.
In the course of his career, Marc has been published in multiple industry publications and is recognized as an industry thought leader for innovation and business transformation. Today, he sits on the Industry Innovation and Leadership Task Force, two carrier councils, the Life Operations Management Roundtable (OMB), and is a Principal Advisor to the Board of two industry leading technology companies. Marc has his undergraduate degree in marketing, master certificates in business and organizational management, and two executive management certificates from Columbia University and The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
